Starbucks K-Cups – Green Mountain and Starbucks Agree on K Cup “Ultra Premium” Coffee K Cup Pods

For fans of Starbucks and Keurig K Cups, this is a match made in heaven. Finally, the deal has been inked to brink the popular K-Cup filled with Starbucks ultra premium coffee to consumers everywhere. This new marraige provides Keurig owners with additional choices to an already stellar lineup of coffees by now bringing Starbucks brand “super-premium” coffee and Tazo teas to their K Cup brewing machines. This also aligns with Starbucks’ previously stated goals of increasing their influence in the premium single brew coffee market, making its ultra-premium coffees and teas available to consumers wherever, whenever and however they want it.

Green Mountain and Starbucks plan to make Starbucks K-Cups available to consumers in the fall of 2011 via grocery, food, and specialty stores throughout Canada and the US. The 2 giants also expect to expand the Starbucks branded K-Cup packs and Keurig Brewing system distribution to the many Starbucks stores throughout North America and to make Starbucks K-Cups available through Green Mountain’s websites: www.greenmountaincoffee.com and www.keurig.com. The products will also be available on www.starbucks.com in thebeginning of 2012.
